Legoland is an international theme park located in Nusajaya, Johor Malaysia. The trip to Johore from Kuala Lumpur took about 5 hours included a stop for lunch at Muar Johor for their famous otak-otak and fish ball noodles.
Malaysia Legoland is the first Legoland theme park opened in Asia. I can see that the areas surrounding Legoland is a newly developed area and there are many more coming soon in the future including the LEGOLAND Water Park and the LEGOLAND hotel.
There are seven themed areas of attraction for all ages such as The Beginning, LEGO Technic, LEGO Kingdoms, Imagination, LEGO City, Land of Adventure and MINILAND.
One of the best ride in LEGOLAND is the Dragon Roller Coaster and the Dragon Apprentice Coaster located in the LEGO Kingdoms!
The amazing part of Legoland is that all the miniatures and landscapes are build mainly by using LEGO bricks. You can see millions of LEGO bricks in this land. Even their train and roller coaster are LEGO orientated.

Mini reminder when you want to visit LEGOLAND@Malaysia.
- The weather in LEGOLAND is extremly hot. Do prepare umbrella, caps, drinking water, sun block, handkerchief, wet tissues or even mini fan if you want to. PS: I stopped playing halfway because the weather is extremely hot and it just make people have no mood in playing although there are so much to see and explore!
- Plan your vacation earlier and buy the tickets online! It is so much cheaper to get the pass online compare to get it at the ticket counter on the day itself.
- The food in LEGOLAND is not cheap. If you are coming in such a big family, do fill up your stomach in the MEDINI mall located right outside of LEGOLAND. There are shops like Thai restaurant, Old Town, Burger King and etc.
In the end after wandering at THE BIG SHOP for some time, I bought one LEGOLAND Lanyard which I think is one of the best souvenir that I can get in LEGOLAND. I also got an ice cream maker for my little brother and two sets of mini lego bricks. The price of the souvenir in LEGOLAND is not cheap. Even a shirt in LEGOLAND can cost about RM 99.90. Do prepare enough cash if you plan to get some nice souvenir in LEGOLAND.
Overall, I find that LEGOLAND@Malaysia is worth for a visit. The landscape and miniatures is really nice in LEGOLAND. The only thing that made me pissed off is the hot weather. I wish that the weather is cool rather than hot. Do visit if you have a chance :)
