AIESEC UNMC LLDS 2014

So on Friday, I went to Wood Valley Resort at Sungai Changkat, Hulu Langat for a 3 days 2 night LLDS (Local Leadership Development Seminar). The journey takes about an hour half from Semenyih. Below are the summary of what I want to say about the conference.

Day 01 (24/10/2014) Friday
- Had reflection on how was my AIESEC journey for the past term and why am I still in AIESEC. I found out that I still have a lot of things to be accomplish and I still have not been to exchange yet. I asked myself so many times why I have not gone for the Global Citizen Programme but I had been to numerous exchange programs. The timing is just not right for me to go for exchange at the moment. However, I am really happy that I was able to help out for the Incoming Exchange during the past summer. It really helps me to understand more about how was the project was conducted, how did actually EP (Exchange Participant) servicing is and I really do appreciate everything that I have when I helped out the indigenous kids out there.

Day 02 (25/10/2014) Saturday
- Had few personalities test such as MBTI (Myber Briggs Type Indicator) and Belbin Team Roles Test. Found out a lot of interesting personalities and type of team players they have out there despite having one myself. I wish to further explore about this myself.
- Had team bonding game where we were all placed in blindfold situation and we have to overcome some obstacle. The end goal is the same for all of us which is to get to the senior track plenary hall from the cafeteria.
- At night there is a session with the OC where we are participating in few station games to find out the hidden hint.

Day 03 (26/10/2014) Sunday
- Had sharing session today about believing in exchange or not.
- Had Exchange Simulation today.
- I was given a chance to facilitate part of the simulation. I really do enjoyed it although it's only 3 hours short. This further clarify on my own personal expectation. I am looking forward for more chance in the future.
- I also told myself to really get use to the upcoming GIS.
- I also want to know more about my juniors. I know that being in OCR (Out Campus Recruitment) for oGCP is not an easy thing but I am not going to give up. I know the purpose I am staying in AIESEC and being in the Exchange department again for the second term as an AIESECer.
Special thanks for the OC (Organizing Committee) team for organizing this LLDS and the beloved Senior Track Faci - Denise, Jayson and Vivian. Without you guys, the conference wouldn't be a perfect want. And of course, my beloved juniors, seniors, EBMTs. I love all of you.
All the best Peggy.
XOXO and World Peace.
Lots of Love.

♥♥♥ New Semester ♥♥♥

It's been almost a month since I started my new semester. I did feel slightly nervous as I enter the lecture hall again although there are people that I know in the course. I just feel weird. Maybe that's because we didn't meet each other for some time during the summer break.
Summer break is pretty long but it seems so short for me. I was wondering what I had done for the whole summer.
Nothing much. AIESEC, rest, rest and rest. That's all. I also had few short holidays but I think that's just simply not enough for me!
I hope to go for AIESEC Global Citizen Programme once in my lifetime. I wanted to experience the volunteering project myself. I have always been asking people around me to go for exchange and yet I haven't have a chance to go for AIESEC Global Citizen Programme.
I have about 2 main modules for this semester which is further divided to many smaller sections.
I have so many hours of classes everday! I am imaging myself as a worker that is going to work everyday from 9.00 am - 6.00 pm. Not to say that this is bad. It's very challenging even until now. I just have to get use to it.
I had been busy with AIESEC MRD for this week. Been reaching hostel late almost everyday. I have to really balance my studies and also club activities. Time management is really important for someone like me who has lots of commitment.

On the 4th October 2014 (Saturday), I actually attended Yiruma's Live Concert in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. It was really amazing. I just love and admire his piano and composing skills. I didn't manage to take lots of picture during the concert as everyone is concentrating listening to the concert. But overall, it was really enjoyable. He performed a lot of his famous songs such as River Flows In You, Maybe, Kiss The Rain, Because I Love You, Love Me and many more. I also purchased his album as a souvenir from the concert

I hope to attend the future concert of Yiruma in the future. He truly inspire me.
Today is going to be really tiring day as we are going to decide on the new babies for AIESEC for this coming term in my LC. All the best!
Going to have updates soon.
Lots of Love from Peggy.
