AIESEC UNMC LLDS 2014

So on Friday, I went to Wood Valley Resort at Sungai Changkat, Hulu Langat for a 3 days 2 night LLDS (Local Leadership Development Seminar). The journey takes about an hour half from Semenyih. Below are the summary of what I want to say about the conference.

Day 01 (24/10/2014) Friday
- Had reflection on how was my AIESEC journey for the past term and why am I still in AIESEC. I found out that I still have a lot of things to be accomplish and I still have not been to exchange yet. I asked myself so many times why I have not gone for the Global Citizen Programme but I had been to numerous exchange programs. The timing is just not right for me to go for exchange at the moment. However, I am really happy that I was able to help out for the Incoming Exchange during the past summer. It really helps me to understand more about how was the project was conducted, how did actually EP (Exchange Participant) servicing is and I really do appreciate everything that I have when I helped out the indigenous kids out there.

Day 02 (25/10/2014) Saturday
- Had few personalities test such as MBTI (Myber Briggs Type Indicator) and Belbin Team Roles Test. Found out a lot of interesting personalities and type of team players they have out there despite having one myself. I wish to further explore about this myself.
- Had team bonding game where we were all placed in blindfold situation and we have to overcome some obstacle. The end goal is the same for all of us which is to get to the senior track plenary hall from the cafeteria.
- At night there is a session with the OC where we are participating in few station games to find out the hidden hint.

Day 03 (26/10/2014) Sunday
- Had sharing session today about believing in exchange or not.
- Had Exchange Simulation today.
- I was given a chance to facilitate part of the simulation. I really do enjoyed it although it's only 3 hours short. This further clarify on my own personal expectation. I am looking forward for more chance in the future.
- I also told myself to really get use to the upcoming GIS.
- I also want to know more about my juniors. I know that being in OCR (Out Campus Recruitment) for oGCP is not an easy thing but I am not going to give up. I know the purpose I am staying in AIESEC and being in the Exchange department again for the second term as an AIESECer.
Special thanks for the OC (Organizing Committee) team for organizing this LLDS and the beloved Senior Track Faci - Denise, Jayson and Vivian. Without you guys, the conference wouldn't be a perfect want. And of course, my beloved juniors, seniors, EBMTs. I love all of you.
All the best Peggy.
XOXO and World Peace.
Lots of Love.

♥♥♥ New Semester ♥♥♥

It's been almost a month since I started my new semester. I did feel slightly nervous as I enter the lecture hall again although there are people that I know in the course. I just feel weird. Maybe that's because we didn't meet each other for some time during the summer break.
Summer break is pretty long but it seems so short for me. I was wondering what I had done for the whole summer.
Nothing much. AIESEC, rest, rest and rest. That's all. I also had few short holidays but I think that's just simply not enough for me!
I hope to go for AIESEC Global Citizen Programme once in my lifetime. I wanted to experience the volunteering project myself. I have always been asking people around me to go for exchange and yet I haven't have a chance to go for AIESEC Global Citizen Programme.
I have about 2 main modules for this semester which is further divided to many smaller sections.
I have so many hours of classes everday! I am imaging myself as a worker that is going to work everyday from 9.00 am - 6.00 pm. Not to say that this is bad. It's very challenging even until now. I just have to get use to it.
I had been busy with AIESEC MRD for this week. Been reaching hostel late almost everyday. I have to really balance my studies and also club activities. Time management is really important for someone like me who has lots of commitment.

On the 4th October 2014 (Saturday), I actually attended Yiruma's Live Concert in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. It was really amazing. I just love and admire his piano and composing skills. I didn't manage to take lots of picture during the concert as everyone is concentrating listening to the concert. But overall, it was really enjoyable. He performed a lot of his famous songs such as River Flows In You, Maybe, Kiss The Rain, Because I Love You, Love Me and many more. I also purchased his album as a souvenir from the concert

I hope to attend the future concert of Yiruma in the future. He truly inspire me.
Today is going to be really tiring day as we are going to decide on the new babies for AIESEC for this coming term in my LC. All the best!
Going to have updates soon.
Lots of Love from Peggy.

Eyebrow Embroidery

I had think for a long time about eyebrow embroidery on whether should I do it or not. A lot of people told me that I had eyebrow and hence I don't need to do it. But I still insisted to do it since I want to look prettier than I am right now.
Finally last week Friday 12/09/2014, about 11 am, I went down to Selayang and had my eyebrow done at a beauty saloon opposite Selayang Hospital.
Eyebrow embroidery is not permanent. It looks natural compared to tattooing eyebrow. I will have to fix it in about half year later since it don't last long (semi-permanent).

Here is the picture of me after the first stage of embroidery. It still look swollen though. The process takes a little time and it's kinda pain.

(Up close of my eyebrow)
She asked me to go back one month and half later for touch up and it shall be fine then. I will need to get a new eyebrow pencil to draw a perfect eyebrow in a short time!
Cheers. That's all for today.
Lots of Love from Peggy.

September 2014

Little updates about myself for now.
As you know it's already the 3rd quarter of the year right now.
I have been reflecting on what had I been doing the past year now.
What had i really been doing so far? Is everything alright for me now?
The answer is simple. YES. I am satisfied with my current life now.
And, I am going to get my braces done today. Am having my braces done at LKM Dental Surgery at Selayang today.I hope to get braces done before going to UK 2 years from now. I want to look more confident and look better of course :P
The whole process of putting on braces and cleaning my teeth (including removal of 1 teeth) takes me about an hour and 45 minutes. Close to 2 hours thou. I didn't feel much during the process as I am kinda used to it. However, I feel very uncomfortable and sore. I couldn't eat anything hard. I am only taking congee and soup at the moment. I think this is a very time for me to lose weight thou. I will be posting pictures of me with my braces soon.
New semester is coming soon and this officially end my summer break. Well I didn't really go anywhere for holiday during my summer break but I have been watching a lot of anime. Not going to be an otaku though. hahahaha. It's dangerous to be an otaku for me. I watched quite a lot of anime recently.
Here are few of them:
1) Vampire Knight

2) La-Corda d'oro

This are both of the anime that I had watched out of so many of the anime that I had been watching during the holidays.
Today is the finally the day where my brother departing to UK to pursue his studies for 2 years majoring in Economics.
I was kinda reluctant and sad at the moment he left to the departure gate. I told myself that I must not cry in front of him but I just couldn't do it when he turn and look at us. I miss him very much and wish to see him in UK one day.
All the best bro for your studies and I am sure you will do well there.
That's all from me right now.

Wednesday, August 13, 2014

Today is already the mid of August. Times flies really fast. In less than 1 month my brother will be flying over to UK to continue his undergraduate in Bristol.
It's really good to go abroad when you have the chance. I like the greenery and clean environment over there. Most importantly, he will be more independent since we won't be able to help him that much. There is so much to do yet so little time. Hopefully everything will settle as the time comes.

This morning, I went to SK Ulu Beranang, Negeri Sembilan to help out with the FORWARD Project by AIESEC. It is a language project where we are helping the kids specially the indigenous kids in learning English. I love volunteering very much and this is why I agreed to join them for the session today :)

I am looking forward to be part of KL Lake Garden Festival 2014 during the weekend. Will be blogging about this soon and that's all from me now! :)

World Peace XOXO
